Capable storefront-style bio tool. USD pricing, awkward Russian-translated UI.

The short version

Taplink originated in Russia and has been quietly building solid commerce features at lower USD price points than Beacons. It's particularly popular for small storefronts (think: catalog + payment). The downsides are a translated UI that can feel awkward and the same USD-pricing problem as everyone else for Indian users.

I tried Taplink because it was cheap. The setup felt translated and confusing. Linktrain just made sense — I had my page up in 10 minutes.

Common questions

Is Taplink really that much cheaper?
On sticker price, yes — Taplink's $4/mo is cheaper than our ₹149. After FX and bank fees, Taplink is ~₹360 effective vs our ₹149. So Linktrain is still cheaper for Indian users.
Why does Taplink feel awkward?
Original product is Russian. English is good but not native — small phrasing weirdness throughout. If that doesn't bother you, the product itself is capable.
Does Taplink have an Indian entity?
No. They're a Belarusian-Russian company. No Indian invoicing, no INR billing, no India-specific support.
